TM appoints four new directors, chief human capital officer

 (TM) has announced the appointment of four new directors effective today to further strengthen the board composition in taking the TM Group to the next level and as part of its board refresh.

 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TM said the new directors are Datuk Asri Hamidin @ Hamidon, Datuk Mohd Naim Daruwish, Hisham Zainal Mokhtar and Saheran Suhendran.

 

Asri, who is the Finance Ministry's deputy secretary general (investment), represents the special shareholder, Minister of Finance (Incorporated).

Asri, who is the Finance Ministry's deputy secretary general (investment), represents the special shareholder, Minister of Finance (Incorporated).

Prior to this, he had been the CHCO at Bank Rakyat for nearly three years.

TM Group chairman Tan Sri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob said the new directors were a distinguished line-up of individuals who would be able to take the group forward into the future.

“The board and the senior management have, between them, vast experience and the expertise necessary in their respective fields  ranging from strategic management, economics, corporate finance and restructuring to law.

“This strengthens the composition of the TM leadership bench as we move forward with our ongoing transformation. I look forward to working with all of them and am excited to see them contribute their knowledge and wisdom,” he added. - Bernama
